Record Planned Visits Separately
Keep intended use distinct from actual attendance.
The record to make
Keep intended use distinct from actual attendance. Make a simple visit log with date, broad activity and whether a visit happened. Planned visits are an intention, while completed visits are a record. Do not count a pencilled-in visit as attendance. Leave health goals, medical details and membership identifiers out of a cost worksheet; the purpose is organising numbers, not advising on exercise.
Work through the worksheet
Start with the days realistically available in your calendar. Count planned visits for a defined period and mark cancellations without deleting them. At the end, count completed visits in a separate column. This makes the effect of missed visits visible without treating attendance as a personal success score or recommending a training schedule.
Worked arithmetic, not a quoted price
Hypothetical record: eight visits planned in a month, six completed, with £90 recorded monthly fees. Planned cost per visit would be £11.25; completed-visit cost is £15. Both divisions are valid descriptions with different denominators. They do not measure fitness benefit, service quality or whether the membership is suitable for you.
Check the uncertainty
Does your visit count describe a plan or something that actually happened? For “Record Planned Visits Separately”, keep the answer with your figures. An exact calculation cannot confirm a missing input. If the written quote and your interpretation disagree, request clarification from the club before treating the result as complete.
Source and scope
The official membership options page says costs depend on the club and chosen configuration. The linked official resources provide enquiry context, not the hypothetical figures above.
