A Quote Review Checklist

Reconcile the record before comparing totals.

The record to make

Reconcile the record before comparing totals. Read the quote header, then the fee rows, then the payment period. Each should answer a different question: what is covered, what is charged and when it is charged. A tidy total can still describe the wrong people or a different package. Check the inputs before checking the multiplication.

Work through the worksheet

Tick only fields supported by the written record: location, package, people covered, monthly amount, one-off amount, extra frequency, inclusion status and chosen period. Put a question mark beside anything missing. Recalculate independently on paper and compare the total rather than relying only on the effective average.

Worked arithmetic, not a quoted price

Hypothetical review: £82 monthly, £6 extra not included, £40 one-off, ten months gives £920 and average £92. If the £6 extra is already included, the total is £860 and average £86. The £60 difference points you back to the inclusion field. It does not prove either version is the club offer.

Check the uncertainty

Which input would change the result if your interpretation were wrong? For “A Quote Review Checklist”, keep the answer with your figures. An exact calculation cannot confirm a missing input. If the written quote and your interpretation disagree, request clarification from the club before treating the result as complete.

Source and scope

The official membership options page says costs depend on the club and chosen configuration. The linked official resources provide enquiry context, not the hypothetical figures above.
